Saturated Canary Card Swap

My Mum loves Saturated Canary digi stamps and follows Krista's blog (I know her name because I just asked my Mum) and Facebook page ... Krista organised a card swap at the beginning of the year where you had send in your name and some other information and she matched you up with someone to send a card to and hopefully you would become friends and stay in touch.

My card swap buddy is Alessandra from America and she is really nice ... She sent me a card that took forever to get here so she made me another one and it got here before the first one ... how funny is that? Anyway this is a photo of me with both of the cards that Alessandra sent to me and this is a photo of the card that I sent to her.

The card that I sent to Alessandra that I coloured with my Prisma markers

I hope you like them and I hope that Alessandra and I stay in touch because she seems like someone I would want to be friends with.

Thanks for looking at my blog

Happy Mother's Day to Nonna

My Mother's Day card to Nonna

I love you lots and miss you lots you are the best Nonna ...
My Nonna went to Heaven when I was four and I miss her every day ...

My card was made at school when my Mum came in and made mother's day cards with my class.  We ran out of time and I had to help the next day because we didn't get finished and I had to go through chaos ... every one calling your name, you get out front and then some one calls you again so you go over there and it goes on and on and on .... I loved having Mum there and helping her but it seemed like everyone was just calling my name all the time ....

I got so wrapped up in getting Nonna's card finished to send to Heaven that I forgot that I hadn't made one for Mum ...  Oops forgot mum's card !!! So worried about Nonna forgot Mum !!!

I coloured a La La Land Crafts digi stamp called Fancy Marci with pencils (because we were at school and I couldn't use my Prisma Markers or Mum's Copics).  I used some paper from my paper pad I got from Spotlight .... A Happy Mother's Day digi stamp and some ribbon, flower and button finished it off. The card had to be simple for school because not everyone in my class has made cards before.

Things I used:
LLLC Fancy Marci digi stamp, Happy Mother's Day digi stamp, coloured pencils, patterened paper, cardstock, ribbon, flower, button and large and small scallop punches.

Bugaboo Penguin Card

This is my Christmas card for my big cousin Heidi.  I got the sketch from Sketches by Carly.  The penguin has glitter on it's belly and the snowflakes do too.  I had a lot of fun colouring this while my Mum was colouring for her Christmas cards too.  I used Prisma markers to colour the penguin and my Mum told me that if I keep doing this good with them then I might be able to start using copics and that would be so much fun.  My Mum even showed me how to use her Big Shot machine to cut out my shapes that the penguin is sitting on.  My Mum let me use her paper, ribbon, glitter, white paint, gems, snowflake punch and glitter which was so much fun because she has got so much more stuff than me!

I hope you like it ...

My Dad's Birthday card

I made this card for my Dad's birthday by myself with a little bit of help from my Mum.  My Mum helped put the string through the buttons and glue them on and glued on the 'wish big' stamp but I did everything else.

I coloured a stamp from Pollycraft called Maurice Hot Stuff using my Crayola pencils and my Mum's solvent.

My Dad loved it so much ...  and I hope you do too ...

See you later
